does anyone have any idea of the make, year or any information as to what this very long vehicle would have been used for.......
This photograph was taken in Caterham Valley Surrey, and has been in my cousins family for as long as he can remember...... |

well, my guess would be a bus, but then im no expert,(far from it) infact miles from it lol.

This is a picture of a Charabang which was popular in the 20's and 30's. Not a lot of help. " charabanc was a sort of coach, usually open-topped, with rows of bench seats, often used on works outings, trips to the seaside and for groups for visiting places of interest"

Hi Kelly, Starlight, and Pauline, thank you so much for the information listed....
..At least I have some idea now of what it is used for, and am hoping to try and find out if there are any members of my family in this photograph somewhere... Writing on the side says I think... Charles Taylor 36, Grant Road, Croydon. registration BY 4074. I originate from Caterham, a stones throw Croydon, so will try Google to see if anything comes up...
