George Frederick was christened at Crofton, Mar 27th 1864, parents: Ellen and William (Railway Labourer) Whitaker, abode: Crofton.

Maud Mary Rosannah Whittaker christened Oct 22nd 1865, at Crofton, parents Ellen and William (Labourer),

John William and a third first name which looks like Kezwick, baptised June 10th 1859, parents Ellen and William Whittaker (Labourer) abode Crofton.

This record discounts the 1861 census at post #7 as that John William was born 1860. Where the heck is William in 1861 and 1871. It's late now, if I don't find him soon I'll take a look tomorrow.

I looked and couldn't see for looking.
Maybe William was working away on railways quite a bit. Just might find that his death cert gives death as accident on railway. Platelayers and sometimes died this way. We will see.
This might be Elizabeth(George's wife) in 1841.
