Thread: ann stevenson[stephenson].

hi everyone.
would anyone be able to help me find any information about ann stevenson [stephenson] please.ann was
born abt. 3/4/1812, in cowick snaith, yorkshire. i am trying to find out if her father was called either
robert or thomas??. as far as i know they where butchers. i want to find out about her family to see if she is my gggrandmother, i think there is more than one ann with this surname who lived there.
i greatly appreciate any help in finding her.

By going to 'family search (which is the Mormon Church records) .. I find .......
Ann Stephenson baptised at Rawcliffe by Goole 15 Aug 1813.
... then going to 'Hugh Wallis' another site that also uses the Mormon records .. but you can search a whole parish at once here .. I find .....
Ann Stephenson 1813 .. daughter of Robert Stephenson and Sarah Motherby .. at Rawcliffe.
By going to www.curiousfox.com and looking for the town Rawcliffe in Yorkshire ... I see that it is just east of the place you mention .."Cowick' .. actually there is a West and East Cowick (just under Snaith)

thank you for reply, i have used family search ann stephenson i am researching lived west cowick, and was born abt.20/3/1812. ann was married. iam trying to find if her father was
thomas stephenson , i know there is another ann lived there same place her parents where elinor crawford and robert stephenson, i will look at the two places you have mentioned,
where did your stephensons live in doncaster. let me know and if i find anything while doing my searches i will let you know. i greatly appreciate any help with mine.
