Thread: MOSSENDEN Sarah YOB 1869 POB Peterborough but lived in Hunslet, (Leeds) and Wilton

Sarah Mossenden (could be read Mossendew in some transcripts) appears with her mum and dad (Sarah and William) in 1871 census, she appears again in 1881 census (aged 12) with her sisters and brothers Mary 1874, Ernest 1879, (Ethel 1884, Noel 1887 and Harry 1889. in the 1891 census). She is missing from 1891. Does anyone have any information on her, did she die? (I cant find a death entry for her). Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

ethel and noel and harry are down as step children so sarah has obviously remarried. sarah and frank are visitors.

right the 1900 sarah mossendew marriage is mother sarahs remarriage - groom is john henry batty.
so second 1901 sarah mossendew marriage is prob daughter sarahs marriage. groom is etiher albert chalmers or joseph henry medley.
