Does anyone have links with the Finan / Finean family in the West Riding?



My ancestor John Finan (1838) settled first in Worsborough in 1890's, then later his sons married and moved out to other mining communities in the Barnsley area such as Darfield, Hemsworth, Wombwell etc.

John was of Irish descent; his sons were names George (1871),James (1874) William (1875), & Samuel (1878).



There were 3 more young men of around the same age as John's sons who came to live with them in Worsborough. They were also called Finan, but not sure yet what relation they were:- Richard (1862), John (1864) & Henry (1865).
