I am researching Beaumont,Lockwood,Marsden,Stones and Woodcock in and around the Thurlstone area of West Yorkshire.

My name is Desmond Stones from Darwin, Northern Territory Australia. Researching my family history of STONES from Cowle/garthorpe/Aldingfleet and Hatfield I got as far back as ROBERT STONES bap: 6/12/1701 Hatfield --- married to Mary nee Thompson 29/4/1725 Hatfield. I have hit a brick wall with this Robert whose father was a RICHARD but no proof of who richardw was
