I have had some fantastic
war records from Raven about my g grandad and am now looking for my grandads records( his son):Dennis Clare born 1913 in Miles Platting, Manchester, he was in the 8th Army and I know he got five medals![]() Well that is all I know, see if you can work your magic again .jennyc |

Sorry Jenny these records aren't available online. As your Grandad served during WW2 his army service records will be held by the MOD. If you are a next of kin you can request his records by completing a Subject Access Request and a Certificate of Kinship, I think you also have to provide a copy of his death certificate. There is a non refundable fee of £30 charged. Sometimes it can take a while for you to receive anything if at all. You can download the forms from Army Records Office The address to send them to is also on that page.. |
