I think this site is the best way of searching for your WW1 & 2 family members who died. You can just search for there names or even any one from there home town, just put in the name of the home town and it will list all men who did from there. Makes it a little easyer if you searching for a John Smith say, as this does link you to the CWGC site but cuts the corners for you. But if you just want your family member put there name and home town in and it should find them for you. Well worth a try.
