I am searching these UK families who ended up in India and their ancestors to Australia and Canada.

Callaghan, first name unknown, married Irene Phylis Rosario from Goa. Two known children: Lavender Joyce and Brian (both deceased)

MacDonald, Harriet Jane who married James Duncan Lamond

James Duncan Lamond was from somewhere in the east of Scotland and went to India with the army, probably the 78th Foot. He retired from the army and retired to the Madras Insane Asylum where Harriet Jane was said to be a nurse. He might have been suffering from shell shock and met her there when he was a patient. He was awarded three distinguished medals for different battles he was involved with which are documented on FIBA.

Ross, Dorothy and Esme, were Anglo-Indian sisters from Delhi. Dorothy married Duncan James Lamond (son of above) and Esme married unknown Downham. The widowed sisters emigrated to Canada during the 1960s with Dorothy's son. Esme was apparently widowed very young and joined an order of nursing sisters. Dorothy was a matron at a boys school at Simla before immigrating to Canada. There MIGHT have been a brother named David or Teddy who ended up in England.

Years back I remember Dorothy telling me she had family in Australia as well as Calgary Alberta Canada.
