My 3rd. Great grandfather's name was John Wyatt / Born ..September 28, 1806 , England Folklore says that he left a wife and 3 children in England to come to the USA I have a copy of his Passenger List , he arrived in NYC. May 7 , 1839 from Liverpool, England , my question is this , did he really leave a family behind in England ,because my records show that he married "Rachel Moorehead " {no date of marriage} Rachel Moorehead was born 1809 , her maiden name was Bryson , can anyone shed some light on this Please !
