I am trying to find any information on my paternal Great Grandfather Leonard Rolfe.

He married my GGmother Hilda Kimbell in Eastbourne November 1914 his age on the certificate is 29, he was an "Insurance Superintendant" and his address was 49 Firle Road, Eastbourne.

They subsequently divorced, presumably after 1922 the year that their youngest child was born. I can find no trace of him online and I am unable to research him locally.

There was a family rumour that he may have been American, but he was never really discussed, I hope to search the 1911 census for him soon so that may help.
