Thread: Williamsons, Whitwick Leics

I am researching the WILLIAMSON family in Whitwick, Leics. I am especially intetested in JOHN WILLIAMSON (circa 1825) his parents were John & Catherine (nee Walker).

I CANNOT find his marriage to HANNAH FOSTER.

The various census records say thay Hannah was born about 1833 in Southwell, Carlton &/or Nottinghamshire.

The birth certificate of their daughter Catherine (b 1860) states that her mother was "formerly FOSTER".

I haven't ruled out the possibility that Hannah was a widow when she married John Williamson & the marriage was in her maiden name (Foster being her married name).

I have searched & searched for a possible marriage for John Williamson & Hannah, between 1849 & 1861 - in Leics & Notts

Any ideas please ?
