My ancestress Margaret Anderson was born c1788 in Scotland (I believe). She married my ancestor Thomas Pratley in Glasgow on 19 May 1815. He was there serving as a soldier of the 71st Regiment sent to Scotland. He was born in Ascott-Under-Wychwood, Oxfordshire. I am seeking any information on Margaret Anderson's ancestors. I've hit a brick wall. I sent for the register of their marriage and it did not give any Parent's Names. I'd be grateful if someone could show me the way. Thanks so much Carrie in Quebec, Canada
