My father's mother was Emma Waring, 1876-1963; a relative has just sent me a family tree with many Warings, back to George Waring, 1759 -1837, from Woolley. Along with the tree (compiled by my aunts Clarice and Joyce) was a couple of sheets of transcribed gravestones of Warings from Woolley -- earliest seems to be Jeremy Waring, who died aged 68 in 1739. Is this of any interest?

Hi Andrew,

Do you have any info. on Warings named Peter or Julia? as these two names seem to be popular in my Waring ancestry.

Thanks again

Susan

Many thanks Andrew for sending me attachments of the transcribed gravestones - they are invaluable and I am so grateful to you. This site doesn't fail to amaze me - there's always members willing to give their time to others.

Thanks for sharing your research with me.
