.. On marriage cert 1871 WAISNIS, when the couple had their two children they appear on birth indexes as WISENESS. Wonder where the name originates from because it's causing a few problems trying to trace further back than the wedding in 1871! Any suggestions welcome

Hi Lyn,
There are a lot of Waisnis families in the USA. It appears that those not born in the states were from Lithuania and Russia. |
