Thread: Ann Williams

I am trying to find information about Ann Williams who is my gggrandmother. She was born in Bristol in 1817/1818 - I have no idea of how or when she came to Australia. On her d/cert it shows her mother as Ann Williams and her father unknown.

In 1837 she was on the HMS Rattlesnake with Rev Samuel Marsden and his daughter Martha leaving New Zealand and returning to Sydney.

In 1839 she married William Clarke at St.Johns Parramatta and had 3 boys - one of these being my ggrandfather.

In 1851 William died and Ann remarried - a William King and had a daughter Sarah Ann.

Ann died in 1884 at Kelso, Bathurst NSW.

The above information I have had from a lady who is the granddaughter of Sarah but prior to that I have no information at all and hope someone will be able to help me.
