Wanted: ancestors of William Vine, miller, of east Sussex. We have his parents probably William Vine / Mary Fitsell, but no info on his paternal grandparents.

Wanted: also - to find the portraits of William Vine and his youngest daughter Esther, maybe others too, and a watercolour of his Brighton windmill painted 1843-ish by his son-in-law Henry Bodle.

Also wanted - the original of his meteorological diary "Wheathers" 1811-1812. Photocopy is in East Sussex Records Office, original was sold by auction in 1990 to an unknown private buyer. Also trying to trace letters between William and his daughters Mary and Rhoda. Known to have been in existence in 1934, but unable to trace more recently.
