Hi there
Searching for the above born c1868 Gravesend.
Stated William Tyler was her father deceased on marr cert.
Married James Nash 1894 Bethnal Green.

Thanks Light

Thanks Raven
We have the Gravesend birth certs, but none are conclusive
Births Sep 1869 (>99%) Tyler Mary Ann Milton 2a736 Births Mar 1871 (>99%) TYLER Mary Ann Gravesend 2a422 Births Dec 1871 (>99%) Tyler Mary Ann E Milton 2a745

The first one died aged 3
The second names no father
The third has William as a father, but he is still alive in 1901 after the marriage.

There is some rumour that her father was in the forces, but he may well have just disappeared.

Its a conundrum!!

Mark
