Thomas Trice was born in Ash, Kent c1808 and married Margaret Rollings born in Brent Devon..cant find a marriage in either place. They had 3 children in Portsmouth William Thomas Harvey Trice c 1832, Elizabeth and George. Thomas was a gunner in the Royal Navy and fought at Sebastapol on the Highflyer... William is also supposed to have fought in the Crimean War, he is said to have jump ship from a whaler which is how he came to be in Australia.
