Thanks, Nanna, these are a bit earlier than the generation I'm puzzling over at the moment, but I'll certainly look into them.

Hi Anny, i have Spaldings in Greenwich, Gorleston, Aldebury,Wheatacre [Yarmouth Suffolk and Norfolk]

which dates do you have?

Hi Jackboc,
The family I was looking for seem to have all come from Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk.
John Spalding, c1808, married to Ann Hunt,
Their daughters Elizabeth, 1831, and Ann, 1839,
And John's father, also John, no date for him, he was married to Elizabeth Howe.
