Hi I'm looking for any information about Wilhelmina Hendricka Lucas Smart, born 1876 - mother Ann was a domestic servant, and they lived at 19 Othello Street, Kirkdale. "Mena" went to Kirkdale Industrial School, and left Kirkdale at the age of 10 (an orphan?) to come and work in the cotton mills in Yorkshire. Mena married in 1896, and died in 1959. I'm unable to find either her or her mother in the 1881 census. Any ideas as to where I can look would be appreciated.
