Hi I am looking for any selby,s who were from nottingham, and loughborough leicestershire. In nottingham they have been mostly found in REMPSTONE. I am hoping someone can help me.

I don't know if this "Selby" is linked to yours??

Elizabeth Selby born 1741, she married Edward Horstead born 1735.

Unfortunately, that's all I have at the moment but if I find anything else, including birthplaces - I'll be in touch.

I need some help with this family

WILLIAM SELBY c 22 nov, 1835 plumtree, son of BENJAMIN SELBY and SARAH GOODACRE. WILLIAM married HANNAH MORLEY B ABT 1838(I first had that she was born in nottingham, but have found a HANNAH born in MALBOROUGH WILTSHIRE)this is from the 1881 census.I have that they married the 27 sept, 1857.On the 1881 census it says they were living on 18 parliment st(dove and partridge ?) notts st-mary.

children.

1. SARAH ANN SELBY c 1862 mapperly derby
2.ARTHUR SELBY c 1868 notts.
RG11/3351 folio 12 pg 18 1341800.

I have found a WILLIAM SELBY as well b 1858 notts as well.
