Do you know where in Wales your Simon's were originally from?

I haven't come across any of mine from Liverpool, well not the later generations anyway, but there's always the possibility that the earlier ones were!!

My GG Grandmother was Jane Simon, born 1834 in Llanidloes, Montgomeryshire. Father: John Simon and Mother: Elizabeth (maiden name unknown, but could possibly be Jones). Siblings: William, Elizabeth and Richard. There could be others

Unfortunately, I haven't spent much time on this line and have not gone any further back than John. I have found the marriage record, and when pennies allow it I will request the certificate.
