HI I AM TRYING TO FIND RAMSDEN FAMILY FROM MOLLACRES YARD YORKSHIRE.
JOHN RAMSDEN born 7th june 1913 WAS MY GRANDFATHER WHO CAME TO AUSTRALIA 1920 APPROX. HIS PARENTS WERE ALBERT AND ALICE maud NEE (SMITH) CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASEE I HAVE BEEN GOING IN CIRCLES FOR YEARS

I have been following up on your post 'Ramsden' and have found the following, all found on www.freebmd.org.uk you may already have this info but here goe's.

Marriage
Albert Ramsden to Alice Maud Smith June Qtr 1899 Wakefield 9C 91

Births
1898 June Qtr Sheffield 9C 640
1898 December Qtr Halifax 9A 421

both of the above are possibilities before marriage

1900 December Qtr Leeds 9B 441
1900 December Qtr Dewsbury 9B 572
1903 September Qtr Dewsbury 9B 632

I don't have the 1901 Cencus for Yorkshire to check for Albert and Alice, maybe another member could check this out for you and give you the info you require.

Hi Delsey

This is the only Albert and Alice to be found in Yorkshire 1901 census

A possibilty it was not unheard of to Marry after children were born, may be Alice was his second wife (there Is a big age gap) and the Children are from Alberts first Marriage.

You dont say when John William was born
