Thread: George Lea Wiltshire

I m new to this site and hope someone here might be able to help with a brickwall.
I am looking for any help to find information on George Lea born in Calne Wiltshire
around 1801 parents Benjamin Lea and Rachel Stretch. They were both dead by 1807 and
George was put in the care of Thomas Stratton Stretch Rachels cousin.
I have been unable to find anything on George between 1807 and 1840, when he married
in Chatteris in Cambridgeshire. he became aTailor but I can find no apprentice papers.
I have googleing Workhouse for the area again no luck.
Any help will be greatfully recievefd
