Default Latue/Lattew

The surname Latue has been used as a middle name in my hubby's family since early 1800. Family rumour says the Latues were Huguenots who fled from France after the revocation of the Edict of Nantes in the late 1600's. I have as yet been unable to either confirm or not.The name seems to have changed from Lattew spelling to Latue in the mid 1700's. I'd love to hear from more Latues, there don't seem to be many with the name.
