My husband's Grandad was Charles Colville Kelly 1898 Germiston S.A., his father was James Kelly 1870 Chester, his father was John Kelly 1827 Ireland and his father was Philip Kelly. I knew that John Kelly married Mary Colville and managed to track them down on census documents to Liverpool, Lancs. They were married in 1846 on the marriage cert it gives John's father as Philip who was manager of Cotton Factory and Mary's father as John. I picked up the Colvilles living in Portland Street the residence stated for both on marriage on 1841 and 1851 but cannot find John and family. John and Mary had 7 children in Liverpool and 3 in Chester. If anything sounds familiar please contact me or if anyone has any ideas please let me know as I appear to be at a dead end. Julie
