Hello

I wonder if anyone could help me track down an elusive relative of mine? She was called Lily Jane JAKES. She was married to my gggrandfather George William PORTWOOD. Now, George had a case of itchy feet but this is what I know....

He was born in Norwich, Norfolk (but can't remember when

)

In 1891, he is living, as a lodger, in Chapeltown near Ecclesfield.

By 1901, he is living in March, Cambs. He was in his early twenties at the point.

So where Lily comes from is anyone's guess!!

Any ideas?

Do you have an estimated year of birth for Lily?? There are a couple of possibles from Cambridge to look at...
