I am researching one specific Irwin family who left Dublin between 1833 and 1844. The father was William Irwin born c1775 Dublin, mother unknown. Their children were Eleanor, Robert, Georgina, Jane and George. Eleanor emmigrated aged 16 in 1833 on the Cabotia to Hobart, Tasmania, with her Uncle Hopton Scott and his family, where she married three times and died aged 92 in Sandy Bay, Hobart in 1904. Robert settled in London as a Hatter. Georgina married into the Raymond family. Jane married Charles Rothwell of Staffordstown and George settled as a builder in Leeds.
