Looking for any connections to the Hammett family of Marylebone, especially Louisa Hammett, father George Francis Hammett.

hello there!!

Hopefully if you are still not listed on this site, you can still pick this up!!!

I am looking for my great grandfather Francis (frank) Hammett.

I know nothing about him apart from he appears to disappear out of our family's life, in fact the only info on him we have is that on my gran's b-certificate.

Gran was born in 1917 (she is still going strong!!!)
Her father is down as being Frank Hammett sgt Northants reg
He was at her baptism in March 1918 and I have his medal record as Francis F hammett.

If he is anything to do with your research please, please get in touch, as we are deperate to know about him (not worried as to why he left our family that's all in the past) and if he is would you have a photo as we would love a copy of something to show gran!
