Thread: Elizabeth Heaton.

I am currently researching my fathers "line", and my g.g.grandmother was Elizabeth Heaton, ( of the Birmingham Mint family) who married JOHN NICHOLLS on 10th July 1831 at Edgbaston Parish Church, Birmingham.

I have plenty of information about Elizabeth, but cannot find anything at all about John Nicholls who (according to the marriage certificate) was "of this parish", and shows on the 1841 census as having been born in Warwickshire.

Does anybody have any knowledge of this John Nicholls please ???

I have just discovered that Elizabeth Heaton and John Nicholls are G.G.G.Grandparents of mine. I am at the early stages of research but would love to share information. I can tell you her descendants.

And where do you fit in to the "Heaton Nicholls" line?? Have you had any luck in finding out anything about John Nicholls? I know he died a tragic death leaving Elizabeth with many young children. But she never remarried.
