Could she have been any relation to my late grandmother Alexandria Fay Reid Geddes. She was born in 1944 in Airdrie, Lanarkshire.

Also have found out from my mum that my nans mum was called Fanny..... does that name appear in any of your records? She moved to Canada breifly though I'm not sure when and then moved to Scotland. x

I've had a look through and my Catherine Anne Geddes was b.19/12/1964 - d.26/12/1950 in Australia.
She maried Gordon Thomson Quirie in 1870's.
They had a daughter. Effie May b.23/1/1905 (thats the date I have but wouldn't swear to it) Born in Fulham and died in Australia in 1970 -another date I'm querying. Effie married Robert Grayson.

Sorry, thats as much as I've got. The name I was researching for hubby was the Quirie side of the family

About Effie...had a quick look and there is a death for an Effie GRAYSON on 11 July 1970 in New South Wales.

Her parents are shown as Gordon & Kathleen. She died in Merimbula, in Eden district of NSW. Her husband was Robert Buckle GRAYSON; they married in 1934 and Effie's surname at marriage was COUTTS. Robert was born in Victoria in 1903 and died in 1971 aged 67, also in Eden district.

So I wonder if this Effie's death in 1970 is 'yours'? Or did she marry twice?
