William COTTAM was born 1807 in England, possibly Lincolnshire. He went to the US about 1820. I believe a brother or cousin Vincent went with him. I have information for him after he got to the US, but I don't know anything about him before. I haven't been able to find him on a passenger list. He was in Pennsylvania when he married and later moved to Ohio, so I assume he entered the US through New York, Boston, or Philadelphia. Would love to find him - he's my great great grandfather.
