I am looking for any one who might be researching the surname Colquhoun in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. I have a Peter Colquhoun b. 1746 to a Peter Colquhoun and Elizabeth KIng. Peter married Jean Forsyth in 1772 and Lived in Lightburn, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Any information in these areas would be greatly appreciated.

I am a tour guide specializing in ancestry tours of Scotland.I came across your posting by chance.There are a lot of Colquhouns in Luss ( Loch Lomond). I was in Stewarton yesterday and came across the attached grave-marker.
