I know that my ancestor Joseph CLAY and his wife Elizabeth (nee Haydon) were associated with the Edward Betham School - but am totally at a loss for any further help. I do not want a 'free ride' in tracing them but would welcome any help whatsoever in any suggestions as to how I can possibly research my family. The family bible says their son (my ancestor) was born in Greenford, but copious requests and a lot of Australian dollars to numerous researchers has produced nothing. Can anyone suggest a path I might explore.
