Hi

My Brown family starts with Robert BROWN born c1813 Govan. His parents according to his death certificate were John BROWN and Janet PATERSON but I have been unable to trace them further.

Robert Brown was a carter/engine storekeeper. He married Margaret KEIR in 1839 Barony and their known children were

Euphemia BROWN born c1840 married to Andrew HOGG 1859
Janet BROWN c1842 married to Henry COLLINS 1865
David BROWN c1848 married to Margaret GALLAN 1873

I cannot find the birth record of any of these children yet they were living at the same address in Tradeston between 1841-1871

Would be glad to have contact with anyone else connected to this family
