My wife's tree includes an Edward Mincher, a Wolverhampton blacksmith, who married Elizabeth Gold at Tettenhall in 1761.

    Any link ???

I have just jogged by and found your request. Have you had any luck because I believe you are looking for Samuel Ellis Mincher and Ann Smith who were married at Dudley Parish Church on 04 Feb 1849. He was a Forgeman and they lived most (if not all) of their lives in Wednesbury. I have found at least 10 children.

Samuel was the son of James Mincher/Jane Ellis and they had 16 children! They were married in Shifnal Salop on 13 Oct 1817. James was born 12 June 1794 in Birmingam and was the son of Joseph Mincher and Hannah Rae who had 10 kids. The link goes back further but to my knowledge has not been proven. Does this help?
