I have a Sarah Meese c1819 Staffs in my tree. She was married to Joseph Kirby b 1819 @ Brierly Hill Staffs...... They married at Kingswinford 3.5.1841....... Not done any research on Sarah as yet.. Dont know if this is a connection to your Meese family or not. regards. Janet. (am on Genes) |

hi Janet,
the Meese family isnt that big so it wouldnt suprise me if Sarah is a relative. I dont have a Sarah Meese of that date on my tree and I have little info on ancestors from around the late 1790s - early 1800's, and i havent gotten any further back passed Joseph Meese. 1780 and Catherine his wife, so any info is useful. if you find out whether Sarah has any siblings that would be very useful. thank you again for contacting me regards helen |

Hi Helen
Havent got the parent details for Sarah but I have the parent details for Joseph Kirby. Will have the check out the census records for 1841 to see if I can find anything else out. I have assumed the birth date for Sarah would have been about the same year as Joseph,, but could be wrong. Regards Janet. |
