My great x5 grandfather was one of the Yetholm Quarries and as I'm working in Glasgow this week I went down to look at the graveyard and saw one gravestone erected by James Quarry to his father John who died in January 1861 and others. Has anyone else seen this and is it at all connected to the Quarries who went to the Isle of Man?

I could say something about being sorry for being several years late - but I only just joined the site myself...
There is a very high likelihood of a connection between the Quarrys that you identified in the graveyard and the Quarries that went to the Isle of Man. I've managed to stitch together a lineage for the Quarrie line that goes back to Yetholm, with a Yetholm born John Quarry who was born in about 1760 - he had 6 children that I know of with a Mary Scott, all born in Yetholm and two of whom I know for certain migrated to the Isle of Man - I don't have information at this time about the other four.
