I am researching two intermarried families from England who settled in Western India. The Johnson and Robinson families. Elizabeth Robinson married Samuel Johnson. Their daughter Selena (some LDS records show her as Culena) married David Ross and settled at Ootacamund, Tamil Nadu, in the east of India.
I have not specifics on this family but an uncle seems to think these folks came to India connected in some way with the railway. He though David Ross was a bookkeeper or accountant with the railway.
