Thread: Richards/Jones/Dorricott 1901 Lower Broughton?

Richard Joseph Richards, Emma/Edward Dorricott (Donicott) Edmund Parry Jones/Mary Jones. Can anyone help with any of these families/names around 1901 in Lower Broughton Salford/Manchester - They all originated from the Shropshire area (Wem, Westbury etc) but moved north sometime prior to the 1901 census.

Richard Joseph Richards Born approx 1874 in Bilsam? Staffs (Could be Bilston, Staffs)

Emma Richards, (Not sure of maiden name but thinking could be Donicott/Dorricott) Born approx 1875 in Westbury Shropshire

Edward Donicott (Dorricott) Born approx 1867 in Pouelsbury? Shropshire (Could be Pontesbury, Shropshire) and Daughter Annie Donicott (Dorricott) Born approx 1889 in Shawbury, Shropshire

I’ll be honest there is a lot of guess work going on here, the Edmund (Parry) Jones / Mary Jones is a nightmare as I don’t have much to go on, other than a rumour that they moved to the Salford/Manchester area from Wem in Shropshire. All I do know is they had a daughter who was born 04/12/1902 called Susannah Margaret Jones (Born Broughton/Lower Broughton in Salford Lancs)

Any help would be gratefully received as I don’t have any family that could provide me with any BDM details/Certificates etc
