I am unable to find my Grandfather Thomas Jerimiah Jenkins in the 1901 England or Wales Cenus. He was married in 1903 Bedwelty. The corner of the marriage certificate was stamped in red the following: Monmouthshire Territorial Force Association, Stow Hill Newport.
Does anyone have an idea why this certificate was stamped so. Could he have been in the forces if so how would I go about looking for it. I know he was in the lst world war I have his medal record but cant find any Service Records or pension records. He was born in cheltenham, Gloucester, but lived in Wales from about 1911. Any help would be appreciated Thanks Sandra |

Hi,
Father George Jenkins B 1856 Hereford. Mother Eliza Jane Jenkins B 1856 Gloucester. They Lived in Bishops Frome, Herefordshire. I have traced the family back as far as thomas's great Grandfather. I'm just stuck on thomas in the 1901 census, I thought that he might have been in the military but have no idea how to find this out. thank you |
