HI, just joined so dont know me way round. but every site i found that offers free info, then requests i register n pay? dont mind paying if good site n recomended to use by any of u guy's, but i would like to find free access if anyone knows what i can do? plz

This one has a free 14 day trial. You must remember to cancel before the 14 days is up if you decide you don't want it.

are willing to share with other members, and it's free

thanks starlight ill go look, n very funny dotsharry thats my sorta humor. but is it the way u guys go? to sign into a geneology site? 14 days free sugests that there is a fee for any site.

This is free if you don't already know about it. It has the 1881 census and many parish records and member submitted records prior to 1837.

the area im looking at is with my grandparents both sides. mums side from up north, bishop aukland in county durham. dad from north london
every site i try cant find anyone related to me! i know thats wrong coz i got names n dates off me mum. must admit i aint that bothered, thought it may be fun! i got burkes peerage, the world book of perrens must be 600 names spelt the same. then think bout ing an :etc switzerland has a large amount.

This site is free anyway! It's hard to advise without knowing what you're looking for. If you decide you want to research your family I suggest you take it a step at a time and post asking for help with a specific piece of information eg grandparents birth - look at other threads to see how people go about it. You'll soon get the hang of it
