Thread: Toft Family Cheshire

Hello Everybody. I am a new member. I am seeking help in trying
to find my GG.G Parents names. John Toft was born 1822 in Nether Tabley
Cheshire. His Father's name was Isaac it is his mother's name I need
to find before I can order a Certificate. that is if they have them for
before 1837. I live in Australia and all records on file here are from 1837
I know the records for most of Cheshire are stored in Chester
The Parish was Rostherne. Thank you Bronson 211

Certificates did not start until Sept 1837.

research the records at the Chester records. ?

Are you sure about his father being called Isaac as there's a tree on Ancestry with John Toft born c1820 in Tabley Superior, a spouse called Martha but with parents called John and Dorothy Toft.

Hello yes I was researching that John thinking I had found my
GGG. But after sending for Marriage certificate I found it was another
John Toft. Perhaps he maybe connected to the Family perhaps a Cousin
The John Toft I want which is on the Marriage certificate Named his
Father as Isaac. Thanks for information. Bronson
