Thread: Looking for crew lists for Olympic & Oceanic.

Hi everybody.
My G.G.Uncle George Henry Chitty & his son Archibald Henry Chitty both perished on the Titanic.
In their bibliographies they give their previous ships as the Oceanic (George) & the Olympic (Archibald).

I've searched the list of Titanic crew who previousely served on the Olympic, with no success, the same with looking for Oceanic crew lists.

Has anyone any info or advise that would help in this search.

Hi,
Southampton has the Central Index Register of Seamen from 1918-1941, but I think stuff prior to this is held at Kew.
You might first try Southampton Archives to see what they hold and if they can direct/advise you.
