Hello
Does anyone have access to St Peter's Church Oldham Baptisms for 1820-1822? I am looking for the Baptism of my GG Grandmother SARAH ANN GREAVES who was born between 1820-1822. On the 1851 UK Unfilmed Census which was available on Familyhistoryonline it states she was born in Limehurst. On 1861 Census it says Ashton-u-Lyne. She died in 1870. On her Marriage Certificates in 1841 to Henry Lowden Fowler who died in 1846 and her Marriage Certificate in 1846 to THOMAS HAGUE it states that her father was RICHARD GREAVES (1841-Glass Blower/1846-Baker). I have looked through the Microfilms of Baptisms at St Michael's Church Ashton-u-Lyne without any luck although some of the entries were difficult to read. I have been waiting for the Microfilm of Baptisms at St Peter's Church Oldham 1815-1825 from my local LDS since last June but as yet have not arrived. I noticed that LAN-OPC are transcribing the Baptisms of St Peter's but were only up to 1805. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Pat |
