Default Morning all !!!

Last night I watched the closing down
Of our beloved AA site
With Mollie -we felt in limbo
It was a sorry plight/

I'd tried to be the last person
To add to all the threads
I don't know why 'cos by today
They'll all be gone.....unread !

Moll began a countdown
Of the hours we had to go
Before the birth of AA2
The time it went so slow.

We started both remembering
To help the time tick by
14 hours and counting
Mollie said....with a deep sigh.

We talked about the friends we'd made
And all the things we'd done
Mollie found her Gran at last
(My gold is still to come!)

Then we got quite excited
All aout the new AA
Would we find our way or get lost
Trapped inside a maze ?

Oh eck I thought I do hope
I can find my way around
I could end up in the Poets Room
Stuck in there.............never found !

Maybe we'd need a route planner
From that other AA site
Or some kind of tracking system
So we're not stuck in all night !

But now we're here, thank goodness
The old site's put to bed
I just need time to look around
And clear my muddled head !

Shan said to write a poem
Well, I've done my very best
But I had no chocolate and I need it
When I'm under stress !

And stressed I was....and excited
'Bout stuff that's yet to come
That will make this site AA2
Most surely Number One !!!!!

Sorry.....bit naff but brain befuddled............what's new ?

Well done Jon, you're a good lad
And well done Chris and Kel
What can I say about you
Except......'Didn't they do well!!!!!!!'

If that was "Naff" Mary, I'd love to see your brilliant ones. A great start to the new poets room.
