Ode To Turning 30!

I don't want to alarm you but I think you should be told
That when a man turns 30 it's a sign he's getting old!

Despite your tears and tantrums you have reached that point in time
Where men can only class themselves as being past their prime.

It's not the looks I'm on about, or the expanding waist.
There's something else which ebbs away at an alarming pace.

I know you won't accept it - you'll just claim that it's not true -
For how can something so absurd affect a guy like you?

But rest assured the time will come when you most surely won't -
You may still want it twice a night but now your body don't!

Your prowess in the bedroom will now slowly start to wane,
So when your wife comes onto you, you'll think, "God! Not again!"

You'll really, really want to but you'll know deep down inside
That all your pecker wants to do is run away and hide!

It's nothing to be scared about, no need to fret or frown,
But best you keep it quiet or you'll never live it down.

Make excuses, have a headache, say you're ill when you aren't,
But never let the truth be known - you want to but you can't!!!

Saz: Naturally Blonde, Naturally Dizzy!

Don't mind me, I'm having a BLONDE moment!

Brilliant, but I'm not sure that many men will like being told that they are getting old at the age of 30.

Unhappy Petal

I'm just a little poetry room
and I'm feeling rather blue
I heard that Petals going away
she didn't tell me, but you

How can I be without you
who else will come and play
no-one cares like Petal does
or has so much to say

I understand you want your Mum
but you are leaving me alone
who's going to keep me company
I don't even have a phone

Now I hope you have a good time
and keep away those chills
don't come back with runny nose
and hands all full of pills

When you come back on Thursday
can I be your 1st stop
now go and get those thingys done
pack your bags and off you hop

bye poet corner

Well, little poet's room, I'm glad
To see you're not alone,
Because it made me feel quite sad
To see you on your own.

No need to shed a bitter tear
Because your friend's away,
Now people know that you are here
They might come back, and stay.

I might pop in myself sometimes
Although I have to say
The bit of brain that deals with rhymes
Has lately gone astray.

Take heart, wee room ! Be of good cheer ,
You don't sit there in vain
We'll keep you going with verses here,
Till Petal's back again.

( Won't we, guys ! )

I'm jumping up and down now
Not lonely any more
All you lovely peeps out there
Keep coming thro my door

I am so pleased to see you all
A happy little room
Might get myself some piccy's up
And give myself a groom

Then when Petal comes back home
Wont she be pleased to see
That I'm bright and shing
Cos you all came to visit me.
