Bless him Anny, you must be very proud

When are you going? Whenever, it sounds like you'll all have a great time

As Chris said........it's a lovely poem

Had fun a while playing games on site

On Stars words i even got one right

As you can guess i do get most of them muddled

I seem to get threads on games in trouble

Its great how all just take it in their stride

To lose on here ,you can still have pride

Must now get back to helping the site

It has been fun for a few nights

Of course i will still have a go

But it takes me ages ,as im so slow

Some can type so very fast

I finally answer two have past

So now and again give it a go

Doesnt matter if wrong or slow

Peeps are very friendly and fun

Relax have a go when work is done ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Chris, glad to see you're keeping up
Those daily exercises
To keep the brain cells working
(shame there ain't no prizes!)

I've not played games now for a while
Maybe it's time I did
Trouble is .....soon as I start
I know I'll be plagued by kids !

Not so today, they're both away
One's on a London trip
The other's actually working
'Stead of festering in his pit !

So really I've got no excuse
Except - my brain cells ceased
They just won't function -not today
And I am not best pleased.

With both kids out I got up
Thought of all the things I'd do
But a social workers coming
Rang up - out of the blue !

So had to tidy up real quick
Put out of the way
The shoe box I was going to cover
In trendy shades of grey

Quickly wrap the cards I'd made
To send to Mums care home
For other residents living there
To buy - least thats what I hope.

I don't want nothing for them
But I'd some cash to go
Towards something they'd like to do
My way of saying 'Thanks'..........you know

So suddenly my day of plans
To do stuff of all sorts
Has gone out of the window
And I'm left feeling fraught !

Next time the phone rings I'll be out
Or at least, pretend to be
Then maybe..............just maybe
I can have some time for 'me'

(AKA Mary)

How beautiful it is to do nothing and rest afterwards...

Oh Petal you're so busy
I don't know how you do it
rushing here and everywhere
like there's nothing to it

You seem to thrive on busy days
don't seem to make a fuss
but you need some 'me time' soon
just like the rest of us

Take care

Oh only seem so busy Pam
Cos I get all in a fluster
When I realise someones coming
And out then comes the duster !

If only I were organised
And did it every day
I wouldn't have to rush around
Get myself in a state !

Oh well, no one is coming now
Till Monday, so till then
I'll be a slob, then Monday morning
I'll hoover and dust again

Cos if I don't these folk might choke
Or have cobwebs in their hair
Can't have that now can I
Cos it really wouldn't be fair.

But today I have no worries
Well, not till one o'clock
When our young lad returns from school
Deep sigh - 'I'm bored'.....non-stop !

But hey....maybe he won't be
He's got his PS3
Or is it PS2 ? - whatever
They're all the same to me !

Then I can cover my shoe box
(It's one of three I've got)
And this young lad will look at me
As though I've lost the plot !

But I don't care, I'll paste away
(Hope it turns out okay !)
Cos if it does - I'll do another
Now that would make my day !

For my Dad fell asleep 9july 2006 and toodle off on 11 July 2006

If I could turn the clock back
but could only have one day
I would reach back just 2 years ago
and This is what I'de say

I know you have to leave me
that your end on earth is due
but I could not let this final day go by
without my words for you

Each and every day I phoned you
just to let you know I cared
each day we had a memory
of which we once had shared

You reminded me of childhood folly
I reminded you of fun
You said I gave you grey hairs
I laughed as I got none

We had 6months to remeniss
To talk of times we'd had
At the end of every phonecall
I finished Love You Dad

At the end of every phone call
You said you loved me too
and I gathered all the memories
That I hoped would see me through

But when that final day arrived
I never got to say
Farewell to you my lovely Dad
I will send my love each day.
