Morning all im back again

not with a moan or sigh
just something thats caught my eye
a picture? a ghost from the past
its arrived here at long last

a box of photos children all small
aunties and uncles i cant name them all
bother and sisters dressed nearly the same
faded photos oh what a shame

turning back to those former years
brings to my eyes lots of tears
happy days some very sad
i dont remember being very bad

i was a good girl aged about three
still am to this day that you'll see
because this poem i send with love
to you angels on earth and above

im in good mood today
as its fri i got my pay
places to go people to see
cant stay in and watch tv

see you all tomorrow xxx

I've found a Smith -well she found me
When searching through her family tree
Not a direct Smith -what a shame
She's on the wife's side -different name !

So out came all my history stuff
Just when I thought I'd got enough
Papers, notebooks, are everywhere
Ink's run out..........now thats not fair !

But happy that I've found a Smith
I'm off, well will be in a jiff
I've a back massage thats booked mid-day
And manicure - (no housework today!)

Tomorrow leg wax (ouch! that will sting)
Then pedicure......... (bliss that will bring)
All part of a Christmas pressie from Bill
To lift me up when I'm going down hill !

Next week a facial and hair do
Lip wax and eyebrow shaping too
And thats the lot........a whole new me
Least thats what I hope I'll be

The 'feel good factor's what I need
To put life on an even keel
No 'downs'..........at least thats what I hope
Am I asking too much ?..............nope !!

How beautiful it is to do nothing and rest afterwards...

Massage today was brilliant !
Could have that every day
Nails polished ? Not so sure
It quickly chipped away.

Still I got the 'feel good factor'
Thats what I'm aiming for
Bill said I looked much better
Then he mopped the kitchen floor !!

Bless him, he knows how I've been
Right down in the dumps
And anything he tried to say or do
Gave me the hump !!

Tomorrow its leg wax and feet
Poor girl's not seen my feet
She'll need a hacksaw for my nails
But the rest will be a treat.

Course all the time I'm there
No housework's done -how sad
Though I did hoover the carpet
Thats my lot for today -not bad !

Oh eck.........Bill swore, the cat it seems
Has just caused such a spill
Knocked something over -dare I look
Was it beer ?...........poor Bill !

Suppose I better pacify
And make peace with the cat
Cos Bill, he was not happy,
So I'd better deal with that !!

Well I've been and had my legs waxed
'Ouch !' - yes it hurt -but then
I had my pedicure, toe nails polished
First time since I don't know when.

But think I will, in future
Do my legs with the good old Bic
Cheap and cheerful, it don't hurt
Eeek..........next week its my top lip !!

I'm starting to have second thoughts
Leg waxing gave me spots
All red they were - now to I want that
On my top lip........I think not !

Might just stick to the facial
Eyebrow shaping I know will sting
But its followed by a hair-do
Especially for Spring !!

Tomorrow I'll de-clutter
(Before my wardrobe explodes!)
All the jumpers and cardis
I've bought - and there are loads !!

This morning when I opened it
A load spilled on the floor
I've filled one bin bag already
Tomorrow I'll fill more !

And shoes - well I've not many
But some they pinch a bit
No point in hanging on to them
My feet won't change to fit !

The cupboard in the alcove
Is full of my son's 'stuff'
Now he's been left home ten years now
I think 'enoughs enough !'

Cos if I cleared that cupboard out
I'd have more room for coats
And shoes and boots and handbags
And clear out the spare room wardrobe !

Well, that's the main intention
I'll grab bin bags in my hand
And fling stuff in them I'd forgot
I'd ever bloomin' had !

Might even clear the washbasket
No telling whats in there
Cos when stuff seems it needs a wash
I sling it on a chair !

I really must get organised
Otherwise I fear
I'll disappear beneath the clutter
And won't be found for years !

So wish me well as I venture
Where no man dare do go
Into the depths of my wardrobe
What will I find ? I don't know

So if I vanish without trace
Or temporarily disappear
Don't worry I'll be in the wardrobe
I'll come out when its cleared !

(AKA Mary)
